Firefighter Initial

Duration: 6 week residential

Who should attend 

The Firefighter Initial Structured Learning Programme (SLP) is aimed at personnel employed at UK licensed aerodromes (category 3 – 10).

Pre attendance requirements

Due to the physical nature of this course, delegates are required to demonstrate prior to attendance that they have been medically assessed and deemed physically fit and able to undertake all course activities.

Course outline

The training program has been designed and cross-mapped to CAP 699 to meet the requirements of licensees in ensuring that personnel who are employed to carry out rescue and fire fighting duties receive initial training in the acquisition of skills and knowledge in relation to their function.
